Let's be honest - bees are brilliant!
 
These perfect pollinators are so important to our daily lives, so finding out about bees and the great work they do and how to protect and encourage them is important learning.
 
Our Bee Activity Kit includes:
 20 Bee Discovery Cards include a range of British Bees that you are most likely to see. Clear crisp images, and the reverse of the card contains a range of buzzing facts to learn all about our furry little friends!
2 x make your own beeds wax candles (approx 7cm long)
2 x make your own bees wax wraps (each wrap approx 30cm x 30cm)

Every thing you need for the activities is in the kit including beeswax sheets, wicks, bees wax pellets and material cut to size to make 2 x sandwich covers (or similar)
Each wrap approx 30cm x 30cm.
Each candle approximately 7cm long.

 For the bees wax wrap you will need an old paint brush or similar and an oven.
 
These activites suit children 5 and over best but younger are able with lots of help.  Adult supervision required.

If carsds are to be used outside for long periods and/or with groups - we advise laminating them so they last longer.
